Through the early spring season I keep one stand up paddle board out and ready to go. That board is the 10'6" SHUBU MOD inflatable from Boardworks. At 34" wide, it's very stable to keep me comfortable and well-planted while paddling on super cold water. The 10'6" length is a popular and traditional size for SUP's, and can be paddled in a variety of venues. Perfect for cruising on a lake and sharing with the family, doing yoga, or paddling down a river. The inflatable technology allows me to keep the board rolled-up in a bag the size of a regular duffel, and safely stowed in the backseat of my truck. I don't have to worry about strapping it to a roof rack where it's exposed to the elements and decreasing my gas-mileage while on a road trip.
This week I took my 10'6" MOD to Confluence Park in downtown Denver, Colorado to do some laps in the whitewater park. Check out the photos!
